vitalink 30th Anniversary Spotlight: QuitlineNC in Onslow County

For three decades, vitalink has partnered with organizations that make a difference in people’s lives. One of those partnerships was with the Onslow County Health Department, promoting QuitlineNC, a free and confidential program that helps North Carolinians quit smoking, vaping, or chewing tobacco.

QuitlineNC connects participants with a personal Quit Coach and offers support by phone, text, or online; no judgment, just help. The program has proven results, with participants twice as likely to succeed compared to other methods. It also provides tailored resources for diverse communities, including African American, LatinX, Native American, and pregnant women.

By amplifying the message “Text, talk or type. Quit your way.”, vitalink helped Onslow County reach thousands of residents and exceed outreach benchmarks. This campaign reflects our purpose‑driven focus: supporting healthier communities through clear, accessible communication.
